Overall the report is a success in highlighting the concerns of civil society organisations about race equality issues in the UK today.

NCVO have signed up in support of Action for Happiness, which launched on 12th April 2011. The initiative aims at a fundamentally different culture, where people care more for the happiness of others.

It is calling for people to pledge to create more happiness in the world and take positive action to promote happiness in whatever way they can – at home, at work or in the community.
