The 2010 Community Walk for Wellbeing returns for its second year to Handsworth Park on Saturday 25th September 2010 and aims to promote community cohesion and wellbeing. This sponsored charity walk and run is open to the whole community and will bring together people of all different faiths and backgrounds, providing them with the opportunity to raise much needed funds for three different charities.
BOSF Responds to Proposed Changes to Parks Service
Birmingham City Council is proposing to make changes to the way the Parks Service is run. In particular, to cut Constituency Parks Managers posts from 10 to 4, and to reduce the role of the Park Rangers.
