2010 Community Walk & Run for Wellbeing

The 2010 Community Walk for Wellbeing returns for its second year to Handsworth Park on Saturday 25th September 2010 and aims to promote community cohesion and wellbeing. This sponsored charity walk and run is open to the whole community and will bring together people of all different faiths and backgrounds, providing them with the opportunity to raise much needed funds for three different charities.

iSE: Preparing Unit Cost Workshop

Without a clear idea of the cost of your product or service and how to price your product or service your social enterprise will often struggle to be sustainable. This session will provide the tools to enable you to understand the term ‘unit costs’ and how it relates to the financing of your social enterprise.

Chamberlain Lecture: Make Justice Local?

This lecture will be given by Frances Crook OBE Director of Howard League for Penal Reform. Responsible for research and campaigns to raise public concern about suicides in prison, the over-use of custody and poor conditions in prison, young people in trouble, and mothers in prison.
